Pitru Paksha is the most important and significant time in Hinduism. For the peace of Aancestors on this side, Shradh is performed by law with reverence and the ancestors get salvation. It will end on Wednesday, 2nd October on the new moon day of Krishna Amavasya of Ashwin month.

This year Pitru Paksha is starting from from 17th September 2024, Tuesday and it will end on 2nd October 2024, Wednesday. Significance of Pitru Paksha
