Diwali 2023 Lakshmi Puja Vidhi (दिवाली लक्ष्मी पूजा की विधि)
- Wakeup early in the morning and take a bath first.
- Wear clean clothes and then clean the house thoroughly.
- Light a lamp in the temple of the house.
- Do worship as doing regularly.
- Wear new clean clothes in the evening.
- Sprinkle Gangajal water in the whole house.
- Now spread a red new cloth on a post.
- Keep a handful of wheat in the middle of it.
- Now place an Kalash on top of the wheat and filled with water.
- Now add coin, betel nut (सुपारी), marigold flower (गेंदे का फूल) and rice grains in the kalash.
- Make a circle by adding five leaves of mango or Ashoka in the Kalash (आम या अशोक के पांच पत्ते).
- Put a small plate of worship on top of the leaves and Keep a few rice.
- Make a lotus with turmeric on top of the post.
- Place the idol of Goddess Lakshmi maa on it.
- Put coins in front of Goddess Lakshmi Idol.
- Put the idol of Lord Ganesh Ji on the right side of Goddess Lakshmi.
- Now place your business/account book and other money/business related items in front of the idol.
- Now place turmeric, kumkum and rice grains in a plate and keep a lamp with them.
- Now first applying tilak to the Kalash and start the worship.
- Close your eyes and recite the Diwali Puja Mantra.
- Now Chanting on Goddess Lakshmi name with adding flowers and rice in hand.
- Offer flowers (फूल) and Akshat (अक्षत) to the idols of Lord Ganpati and Goddess Lakshmi.
- After this, lift his both statue from the post and place it on a plate.
- Do th Bath with Panchamrit of idols (a mixture of milk, curd, honey, Tulsi and Gangajal).
- Now bathe both the idols with Clean water and wipe them and put them back on the post.
- Now applyting tilak to the idol of Lakshmi Ganesh Ji.
- Offer garland, bel leaves and marigold flowers and burn incense.
- Offer them coconut, coriander seeds (धनिया), cumin (जीरा) and cucumber (खीले) to Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi.
- Keep sweets, fruits, money and gold jewellery in front of the idols.
- Perform the aarti of Maa Lakshmi and Ganesh JI, together with the whole family
- Keep the lamps kept in the temple at different places of the house.
