As per the Hindu calendar, the first day of the month is called Sangrand (Sankranti). This month is know as staring of new month as per Solar calendar. Sikh as basically using the Nanakshahi calendar 2023 which is showing a Sikh communities festivals and holidays. Nanakshahi Sangrands dates 2023 is already fixed and it is starting from the fist month of January.
